Terms and Conditions

The Terms and Conditions set forth herein constitute the full and complete agreement between you and FINE & COUNTRY SOUTH AFRICA (PTY) LTD. While we make every effort to maintain the web site to ensure the accuracy of prices of boards, stationery, marketing material and other merchandise, prices are subject to change without notice. Every effort will be made to fulfil orders at the prices reflected at the time the order was placed with us. Should merchandise have a higher price, we reserve the right to charge that amount.

ALL TICKETS

All tickets are due an expiry date of 30 days wherein if no reply or payment was received, the ticket will automatically be closed. A new ticket will then have to be generated.

1. STATIONERY ORDERS (Orders for name badges, letterheads etc.)

1.1 All prices stated exclude vat.
1.2 All items for order exclude delivery cost.
1.3 Orders may take up to 14 working days depending on supplier’s production line.
1.4 No order will be processed without proof of payment
1.5 No order will be processed without sign-off of proofs.
1.6 Items are subject to availability.
1.7 The layout, design and format are set in accordance to the F&C corporate identity and cannot be deviated from in any way.

2. BOARDS (Place orders for your boards here.)

2.1 All items for order exclude vat.
2.2 All items for order exclude delivery cost.
2.3 Orders may take up to 14 working days depending on supplier’s production line.
2.4 No order will be processed without proof of payment.
2.5 No order will be processed without signed-off proofs.
2.6 Board order requests that are different to the generic templates provided will be charged an additional cost and the order may take longer than 14 days to process.

2.8 The layout, design and format of boards and name stickers for boards are set in accordance to the F&C corporate identity and cannot be deviated from in any way.

3. BUSINESS CARDS (Orders for Business Cards – please complete details on separate orders for each agent/principal.)

3.1 All items for order exclude vat.
3.2 All items for order exclude delivery cost.
3.3 Orders may take up to 14 working days depending on supplier’s production line.
3.4 No order will be processed without proof of payment.
3.5 No order will be processed without signed-off proofs.
3.6 The format for the business cards is set and cannot be deviated from as pre-printed shells are made up and digital specific fields are created for the print supplier system.
3.7 The layout, design and format are set in accordance to the F&C corporate identity and cannot be deviated from in any way.

4. MARKETING – ORDERS (Orders for Banners, Car Magnets, Car Shades, Flags, Bunting etc.)

4.1 All items for order exclude vat.
4.2 All items for order exclude delivery cost.
4.3 Orders may take up to 14 working days depending on supplier’s production line.
4.4 No order will be processed without proof of payment.
4.5 No order will be processed without signed-off proofs.
4.6 Items are subject to availability.

5. PUBLICATIONS (Order for Refined Magazine and EHW Magazine)


5.1 Please adhere to the booking, payment and material deadlines sent out in advance via notifications from Head Office.
5.2 Please note that there are set templates to choose from. These are provided in PDF format for the Refined publication. Text boxes are set up in the documents for completion with correct formatting. It is compulsory for the office to complete these templates, as other formats of copy will not be accepted. A word count will be provided by the Studio for the EHW and the Indwe magazines.
5.3.1 Photographs must be of high resolution (300dpi), a minimum size of at least 2MB, and must be of high quality, preferably taken professionally. The Studio has the right to reject any photographs that do not meet these standards and may instruct an office to replace a property if the photographs are deemed unsuitable and replacements cannot be provided. All photographs must be sent separately via email, or preferably shared via “We Transfer” or “Dropbox”. A specified email address for the Studio will always be stated. Please share all material directly to this allocated email address and not to any other Studio email address in order for material not to be lost.
5.3.2 Land and developments may not be showcased in the Refined. Where an office wishes to advertise these they will need approval from the Studio and this will be subject to the photos being on a par with the properties advertised within the magazine. The EHW does not allow either of these to be advertised.
5.4 A Fine & Country web reference is compulsory for each property being advertised in all three publications.
5.5. Only office details are used in all publications without any property consultant details, as these are available on the Fine & Country website and are always up-to-date on the website.
5.6 Final ‘sign-off’ is required by date of final sign-off deadline indicated via the email notifications for all deadlines. All pages not signed-off by the deadline will automatically be accepted as correct and will be submitted for print. The Studio will not be held liable for any incorrect information being published in the magazine.
5.7 Where payment is still outstanding by the time of print production, magazines will be withheld from delivery to the office until proof of payment is submitted to the Accounts department and indicated on the ticket system. The office will be charged for any additional courier and storage cost incurred due to late payment.

6. CAMPAIGN CARDS (Order all campaign cards here.)

6.1 Please adhere to the booking and payment deadlines sent out in advance via notifications from No-Reply.
6.2 Please ensure that all details are filled in correctly in the allocated fields.

7. STUDIO SERVICES (Requests for advertising, brochures, bulk emailing, office branding, etc.)

7.1 Fine & Country's creative and award-winning marketing has been one of the key factors to its success. All Fine & Country members have direct access to our exclusive Studio. Which in addition to carrying out most of the extensive services, the Studio is also the direct source for all of your printing, publishing and marketing requirements. The Studio offers personal marketing collateral, individually personalised for each member's unique designs and campaigns.
7.2 Fine & Country's creative and award-winning marketing has been one of the key factors to its success. All Fine & Country members have direct access to our exclusive Studio.
Studio rate: R450 (excluding vat) per hour. Please note that an upfront consultation fee of R450.00 excl vat is applicable before commencing with any studio project, thereafter the hourly rate will be charged depending on the project. This rate does not apply to Fine & Country members which are on a studio contract.
7.3 The Studio can assist you with the following:
Advertising, Window Cards, Brochures, HTML Emailers, Digital page turner, Office branding (studio cost applicable depending on request), Signage (studio cost applicable depending on request), Flyer design, Vehicle branding (studio cost applicable depending on request), Templates, Logo requests, Developments, Personalised design, E-Cards, Invitations, and any other marketing items.
7.4 Please note that requests must be submitted at least 2 days prior to any deadline for advertising, personalised designs, signage, new templates and all other marketing items.
7.5 Projects that exceed the standard time spent will be charged additional studio service fees. (E.g. Finer Lite, Glossy brochures, signage etc.)
7.6 The Studio will submit three proofs (the third being the final for approval), any changes thereafter may be charged for at the Studio’s discretion.

8. EMAIL ACCOUNTS AND EMAIL SIGNATURES (New email addresses, password changes, email signatures etc.)

8.1 All requests regarding email accounts may take up to 24hrs. (Weekdays).
8.2 Cost for personalised email signatures: R150.00 excl vat per signature.

9. IT SUPPORT (Request support or remote support.)

10. GENERAL SUPPORT (Submit general queries here.)

10.1 All queries not related to or stated on the ticket system may be submitted on the “General Support” platform.
10.2 All requests regarding general queries may take up to 2 days to answer, depending on the nature of the query.

11. VIDEOETTES

11.1 Cost per videoette is R250.00 excl Vat.
11.2 Videoettes can only be ordered through the ticket system.
11.3 Proof of payment is required before the videoette is created.
11.4 Only one Fine & Country Web Reference must be supplied per ticket order.
11.5 Details on the web listing must be accurate, including office details that will be displayed at the end of the videoette.
11.6 A minimum of x25 photos are required in order to create a videoette.
11.7 Photos must not have any watermarks or logos and must be formatted ideally in the following size: 1920 x 1080, landscape.
11.8 Photos must be taken by a professional, so high resolution and attractive to look at. Should there be an interesting feature of the property, please advise the photographer to take photos of the feature during the shoot too.
11.9 The Studio has the right to practice quality control, and all videoette content will be screened before publishing. Photos that contain clutter or are visually unappealing may be requested to be replaced or excluded from the videoette.
11.10 The creation of the Videoette will only commence once payment has been received and all applicable criteria are supplied and met by the respective office.
11.11 Please note that the process for creating a videoette is done by an automated system, therefore, once a videoette has been created, NO amendments can be made. It is therefore the responsibility of the Licensee to ensure that the order of the photos on the web listings is correct as this is the order they will appear on the Videoette.
11.12 The process of creating a Videoette automatically includes additional lifestyle imagery in line with the marketing principles of Fine & Country internationally.
11.13 Licensees ordering Videoettes with the incorrect web reference, information or photo order will still be held liable for all costs and the Studio will not be held responsible for any errors and omissions due to incorrect info being supplied.
11.13 Videoettes may take up to 48-hours to be completed, content that is rejected on the web listing for not being loaded correctly will delay the process.
11.14 Videoettes are directly embedded onto the F&C listings once it’s been created and will be live to the public.
11.15 A YouTube link will be provided for Social Media purposes.
11.16 The Videoette will be published onto the Fine & Country South Africa YouTube channel provided it meets the standard of quality utilised on this platform in terms of promoting an upmarket and quality lifestyle.
11.17 MP4’s may be requested, but will only be released at the Studio’s discretion.

12. CALENDARS

12.1 All items exclude vat.
12.2 All items exclude delivery costs.
12.3 Please adhere to the booking, payment and final proof deadlines.
12.4 Delivery of calendars is scheduled according to year calendar.

12.5 Failure to meet the payment deadline will result in the immediate cancellation of your calendar order.
12.6 No order will be processed without a proof of payment which must be supplied on the ticket system.
12.7 No amendments will be accommodated if they are not communicated on the ticket system.
12.8 No amendments will be accommodated after the final proof deadline. Calendars will be deemed ready for print by the final proof deadline, even without sign-off from the office.
12.9 The Fine & Country Studio will not be held liable for any incorrect info after the final proof deadline.
12.10 Calendars may only be ordered in batches of x1000.
12.11 Separate tickets must be generated for each order.
12.12 Templates are set and will not be deviated from.
12.13 Photographic material for areas on calendars will be solely generated by the Studio.
12.14 Orders that are received after the deadline will be quoted on separately and additional costs may be incurred.


13. STRATEGY FOR SUCCESS


13.1 All items exclude vat.

13.2 All items exclude delivery costs.

13.3 No order will be processed without a proof of payment which must be supplied on the ticket system.

13.4 One proof will be provided for personalised requests from the Studio.

13.5 Sign-off or confirmation of proof is needed to process order.

13.6 The Studio will not be held liable for any incorrect details after sign-off.

13.7 Templates are set and cannot be deviated from; requests to amend or add to the original layout will not be permitted by the Studio. The only amendments that will be accommodated are for the allocated placement of agent photos, details and office details.

13.8 Digital copies have a shelf life of two years and will be automatically updated during this period on the server.

13.9 Digital copies are non-transferrable except where an agent has left the company, it may be allocated to another agent.

13.10 Additional printed copies may only be ordered after an initial print order has been placed.
